Jose Chuchuca is a Support Specialist of Children’s Corps at Fostering Change for Children. He is a graduate of SUNY Albany and an alum of the 2016 Children’s Corps class. Jose worked directly with families in the child welfare system at the New York Foundling’s Bronx STEP-S Prevention Program. He supported families through difficult times with the goal of keeping them out of the foster care system. Jose spent two years with Bronx STEP-S and was an acting supervisor for the program. Jose continues to work at the New York Foundling and currently with the Court Ordered Supervision (COS) program as an intake coordinator. In his free time, Jose likes to attend concerts, go for hikes, play soccer, and work on his photography skills by trying to capture the beauty of NYC.
